The Legacy Alliance;
a collective of men investing in the legacy of Black women's innovation and leadership through philanthropy, advocacy, and engagement.
Why This Matters
Her name was Alice Ball.
At just 23 years old, she developed the first effective treatment for leprosy.
She died before her work could be published.
Someone else took the credit.
It took 85 years before the world finally learned her name.
If history almost forgot Alice Ball...
How many other remarkable women have we already lost?
The Museum of Black Women Innovators exists to ensure those stories are never forgotten.

Because every legacy deserves someone willing to stand for it.
The women whose stories this Museum will preserve don't need anyone to speak for them.
Their work already speaks.
We're simply asking men to stand for the stories that deserve to be remembered, and to help build a permanent home where future generations can discover the women whose brilliance helped shape the world.
